  • TANK 91-93 Great Portland Street (map)

TANK presents Sema Kaygusuz, discussing her new book Every Fire You Tend with Professor Maureen Freely and translator Nicholas Glastonbury

For our next TANK Book Talk, we are delighted to host Turkish author Sema Kaygusuz to discuss her book Every Fire Your Tend (Tilted Axis Press) alongside Professor Maureen Freely and translator Nicholas Glastonbury. Inspired by the story for her grandmother, Every Fire You Tend explores the legacy of genocide, violence and language among the Zaza-speaking Alevi Kurds of Turkey, from the 1930s to the present day.

Join us on 24 February in TANK’s Great Portland Street gallery space. Your £8 ticket includes a copy of TANK’s latest issue, which features Will Wiles, Venkatesh Rao, Jeff VanderMeer, Rachael Allen, Alenka Zupancic and more.
