The Art of Translation: International Booker Prize shortlisted translators in conversation. This event is being held in association with English PEN

Join the shortlisted translators for the 2022 International Booker Prize for an evening of readings and discussion in the lead-up to the announcement of the winners. The International Booker Prize shines a spotlight on the art of translation, with the £50,000 prize money shared equally between author and translator.

Reading on the night will be Anton Hur (CURSED BUNNY), Damion Searls (A NEW NAME SEPTOLOGY VI-VII), Sam Bett and David Boyd (HEAVEN), Frances Riddle (ELENA KNOWS) and Daisy Rockwell (TOMB OF SAND). The speakers will be in conversation with host Ellah P. Wakatama.

Tickets are £3.00. All shortlisted titles will be available to purchase on the night and the translators will be happy to sign copies after the talk.
