This year, writer Geetanjali Shree and translator Daisy Rockwell were named as the joint winners of The International Booker Prize – the annual award for the best novel translated into English from another language. Together they made history as their winning book, Tomb of Sand, is the first novel translated from Hindi to win the prestigious award. Edinburgh International Book Festival welcome Shree and Rockwell in conversation with Peggy Hughes to talk about the stunningly expansive – and deeply funny – novel.
Tickets: £14 (£12 concession). Event starts at 4:15 PM and lasts approximately one hour.
